Usually Not: Hyperbaric oxygen does not usually raise ones blood pressure. If your blood pressure is above normal than it is usually due to some other condition. See your family physician to discuss this.

Yes: Hyperbaric oxygen therapy raises blood pressure by increasing the cerebral (brain) arterial blood pressure...The peripheral BP will compensate as well. So, overall BP will increase temporarily.

Maybe: Population studies have been carried out to answer the question, "does hbot raise bp?". There is conflicting data from these studies, so the answer depends on which study you believe. On average, the increase in blood pressure is about 4 mmhg, which most people would think is insignificant. However, there is wide variation. Some patients will increase by more. Others will have a lower pressure.

No long term effect : While some patients may have minimal elevation of blood pressure and others may HAV lowers blood prsssure but there is no long term effect on the blood pressure for the patients who are treated long term like for diabetic ulcers and others.
