My left arm has been feeling warm or hot for the past week--what could this be?

Infection: Cellulitis, or an inflammation of the skin, can be caused by any number of things: insect bite, scratch, ingrown hair, etc. The increased temperature is indicative of either a blood clot or infection. Go see your doctor and start on an antibiotic.
