Immediate with O2: Reversible ischemia is, by definition, reversible and as soon as oxygen delivery rises there are no long term metabolic consequences. If whatever is causing the reversible state persists too long, cells die. This is not reversible and "healing" generates a scar--or in some environments a nasty infection. Ex: a blood pressure cuff - can be up for an hour, reverses no prob! but don't try it at home.
