How about a surgeon?: Since dermatology is generally considered a medical specialty rather than a surgical specialty (though many dermatologists perform some surgical procedures dependent on training, interest, and wishes), why not see an ophthalmologist, ent, or plastic surgeon, all surgical specialists who will best know how to safely remove your "things" with the least scar or functional concern?
