A member asked:

Why kind of information do you have to give at a physical exam?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

As much as possible: The more info you provide to your doctor, the better job she'll be able to do for you. Usually, we'll ask about past medical and surgical history, family medical history, how much you smoke and/or drink, sexual history, and about medications you take. Also, you'll usually be asked about health habits (diet, exercise, sleep).
