Conservative care: If the bite is of a venamous snake you would need antivenom specific for the type of snake eg. Rattlesnake. It needs to be given soon after the bite. You need to be at an emergency room! the old treament of making incisions in the skin and sucking out the poison is not effective. Otherwise care is supportive to clean wound and treat bacterial infection if present.

See below: For non-venomous bites, wound cleaning, checking tetnus status and watching for infection. For venomous bite, immobilize the area if it is a limb, remove any constricting clothing or jewerly and get to an er or call 911 for assistance.
