Epicondylitis: Inflammation of the elbow joint is common with overuse of the affected joint. You could be suffering from "tennis elbow" a common term used for epicondylitis. Try a short course of advil 600 mg three times per day for about 7 days or naprosyn (naproxen) 500 mg twice a day for 7 days. You could also use a forearm brace which could releas some pressure of your elbow. Give it a try.
