Testing: As stated by other doctors, I don't think that you would necessarily be able to diagnose either accurately based on symptoms alone. There are tests for Babesiosis: Babesia PCR, Babesis FISH, B. Duncan IgM & IgG IFA, B. microti IgM & IgG IFA. Tests: Bartonella FISH, Bartonella IFA, Bartonella PCR, Bartonella multi- species western blot.
