Not on your own: If you are popping your back on your own, most likely it is not being done in a safe manner. You should see chiropractic doctor who can do it in a safe manner. There is always the chance of friction injury on the cartilage between bones whenever you pop a joint. I would recommend stretching and muscles strengthening.
