Not IBS: The problem is due to the pain medication. You need to increase your water intake and take a stool softener daily. 64 oz of water may not be enough for you. Usually a good stool softener like senekot-s is a good start or colace (docusate sodium) taken regularly. Exercise such as walking is good. Also increase your intake of fiber by eating oatmeal.

Not uncommon: One of the side effects of opioids is constipation. Unfortunately this is not a side effect that patients get used to. Initially laxatives like senna can be used often coupled with a stool softener (colace). An old fashioned remedy is prune juice- you may want to try it). If the condition becomes worse., ask your physician about relistor (methylnaltrexone).

Another option: Amitiza (lubiprostone) may be another option. It is a pill that has been approved for opioid induced constipation.
