Dilaudid: The side effects are varied and similar to other narcotics. If you have been prescribed these your physician and pharmacist should have gone over these with you. I hate to presume but please do not take this medication if not prescribed to you it is a powerful narcotic that could kill if taken incorrectly.

Well: The primary effects are sedation , nausea, constipation, decreased respiratory drive and urinary retention. Oh and pain relief.
