Not the best choice: There are various formulations for this product, all with multiple ingredients you do not need if you are using as an occasional sleep aid. First make sure you are not taking anything, meds or drinks that affect sleep. Turn electronics off 30 min prior to bed. Options for single "item" sleep aids include melatonin, dramamine, (dimenhydrinate) valerian, and diphenhydramine, also known as Benadryl
