Coumadin (warfarin): Coumadin is a very important medicine, only prescribed for very serious and threatening conditions. This is available in an inexpensive form called warfarin. Depending on the reason you are on it, continuing it may be a matter of life or death. Talk to your doc about getting samples, or getting on a medication assistance program.

?A=Atrial fib?: If loss of insurance is temporary, warfarin is not expensive and paying for one blood test could get you through almost 2 months. To get you through another month, your doctor may have some free samples of new pills that dont require blood tests. At your age, not everyone with atrial fib has to stay on warfarin but that's a question for your doctor.
