A member asked:

Can non-genital warts be transmited though skin to skin contact?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: The virus that cause warts are part of the human papilloma family -- and skin contact is usually required. Auto-inoculation can also develop. But in general, the virus does not survive well free of a host.
