Whats glasgow coma score mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Scottish head trauma: A major hospital in glascow scotland published levels of coma in head trauma patients. It has now become the standard throughout the world. It is a number from 1 to 15 that can describe the neurological condition of the patient. There are five categories each of which can get a number 1, 2, or 3. A fully conscious and responsive patient will get a 15 with serious injury usually below 7.
