Egg production: Dhea might help improve egg yield. While data remains limited, it seems clear that androgens, male hormone, help sensitize follicles to stimulation. Women with high natural androgen levels tend to have many small antral follicles. Supplementing stimulation with dhea can, in some women, improve the number of eggs.

None: When women's ovaries are nearing menopause (they dont work well, not related to age) dhea has been tried to attempt to get more eggs when taking injections for IUI or ivf. Data is not very promising. The eqq quality is usually still very low so the end result is usually no different. Except fort side effects, dhea is safe to take.
