Its possible. : When renal cell carcinoma metastasizes, it is most likely to spread to neighboring lymph nodes, the lungs, the liver, the bones, the adrenal glands, or the brain. Spread to the bone is often to the spine, but may be anywhere. Radiotherapy is often used in in cases of bone metastases, to reduce pain and lower the risk of pathologic fracture.
