Not much: Acne scars are typically depressions in the skin of various types. Applying antibiotic ointment will not improve scars.

Nothing: Unless the scar has been picked, squeezed, or opened with a needle and becomes infected, there is no benefit with any kind of antibiotic ointment, single, double, or triple! a healed scar will not have any change with topical antibiotic ointment use, nor with Mederma or other scar preparations. Dermabrasion, chemical peel, or laser resurfacing is needed to improve acne scars.
