Painful urination: As it is in girls, boys can have painful urination from bubble baths. Aside from that and a definite history of genital trauma, your 4 yo son should have a urinalysis and urine culture to rule out an infection. Beyond that, a pediatric urologist should get involved. There maybe a blockage in his urinary trat.
