Unlikely: Once formed, it would be like trying to dissolve a stone in your garden. Try to pass it if it is painful and ignore it if is not. In either case if you have not had an evaluation by an expert in kidney stones, usually and endocrinologist, seek help to prevent more stones. To pass it, drink a lot of pure water and try relaxation exercises to try to relax the ureter to let the stone pass.

Kidney stones: Calcium oxylate stones are the primary type in north america. They cannot be dissolved. Around 15% of stones are uric acid. It may be possible to dissolve these by alkalinizing the urine. See a urologist for assessment and treatment recommendations.
