Not usually: Although there is an association with hypoglycemia which means low blood sugar. Hyper and hypoglycemia are seen in diabetes. Having a low blood sugar can create signs and symptoms of a panic attack. The main difference is that you won't die from a panic attack. With hypoglycemia, one could pass out, have a seizure and stop breathing.

Maybe : Everytime your blood sugar drops to low, your adrenal glands put out adrenaline. This "fight or flight" response can cause a panic attack.
