Swelling and debris: After this type of infection, it is not uncommon for the ear swelling to persist and for there to be some debris and old wax in the ear left over from the infection. There may also be some crusting. You should see a doctor and have the ear cleaned. Make sure the doctor does not try to wash out the debris, that may make things worse. Ear nose and throat doctors have special tools to do this.

Ear Debris: You likely have debris in the canal from the infection that is making it hard to hear. Go see your physician to get this cleaned out.
