I have pain in my ankles and lower back?

Sciatica: Pain is subjective. Without understanding of the type of pain you are having it is hard to diagnose. Back pain referred to ankles is usually associated with sciatic nerve and lumbar nerve root pain at l5-s1. See a spine specialist or podiatrist to evaluate your posture. Remedy could be simple as a pair or orthotics.

Need more support: Most often this is the result of poor foot support. Wear supportive shoes and inserts. See a podiatrist for evaluation and proper treatment.

See below: It may be due to misalignment of your feet, ankles and hips that could be throwing off your low back. You may want to try orthotics.
