Sciatica: This can often be very painful. You can try heat to the location where the pain emanates from, or ice. Some times one works better and gentle stretching. Over the counter antiinflammatories like allege can be used. If pain persists see the doctor.

Sounds like: You are putting some pressure on the sciatic nerve it could be something about the way you are sitting, the seat, or if you have a wallet in your back pocket on that side. Or perhaps you have a lower back issue that needs to be examined.
