Usually: For healthy individuals these two medicines are generally safe if taken together. You would want to be aware of the possibility of increased heart rate or blood pressure. Also, there could be an increased frequency of increased anxiety, jitteriness, agitation, stomach complaints, and headaches. Side effects are usually minimized by starting with low doses and working gradually with both meds.

Concerta/Wellbutrin: Safe combination. To minimize activation side-effect, it is best to take Concerta before breakfast & wellbutrin (bupropion) with lunch.
