How do you know?: A visit to the obgyn is probably warranted as sex should not cause you that much pain. If vaginal penetration occurred then your hymen will be open. Your doctor can do an exam and make sure everything is ok and discuss more effective birth control options. A home pregnancy test will be reliable 7-10 days after unprotected intercourse.
