My lower back mri came back as a 2. what does this mean?

Not sure: I read and interpret mri's of the spine every day and to say it was a 2 means nothing to me. There are many things which the 2 could refer to, but without more information, i'm not sure what to tell you. It could relate to the degree of stenosis, spondylolisthesis, strain, or modic changes of the spine.
