I am 5 weeks pregnant and am bleeding slightly. i went to the dr 2 days ago and had an ultrasound and was told everything looked normal after bleeding some the previous days. i have no cramping or pain. should i be concerned?

Not yet : It is common for some women to spot early in their pregnancy. Based on your normal check up, try not to worry. And congratulations!

Sure - but not a lot: I could not tell you to ignore the bleeding - after all it is not normal. It is not rare, though, either, so take it for what it is: a threatened abortion. Folic acid 1-5 mg daily orally, bedrest and positive thoughts/prayers help. Best of luck!
