Backaches are common: Back aches are a common symptom, especially as adults age, but even in teenagers. Examinations, testing, and treatments vary greatly, depending on things like the age of the patient, the story behind the pain, the patient's other diseases, or the types of back symptoms (which part of the back, what makes it better/worse, any bowel/bladder changes, any limb numbness/weakness, degree of pain, etc.).
