Many: This is a tough question to answer briefly. However, some signs would include a variety of emotional problems (anxiety, anger, depression) as well as an increase in behavioral problems. There is a greater likelihood of decreased school performance, increased risk-taking behaviors, and substance use in teens. In teens there may also be episodes of self-harming behaviors, such as cutting.
