See orthopedist: If you have an injury to your finger extensor tendon, you should see an orthopedist. Most of these injuries can be treated conservatively with a splint. However, depending on the injury, some can actually require a surgery to obtain the best result. So get a good exam and an xray of the affected area.

Hand surgeon: Tendon injuries in the hand are typically treated by a hand surgeon. Hand surgeons can orthopaedic surgeons (like myself), general or plastic surgeons. Look for someone who is board certified and has a certificate of additional qualification (caq) in hand surgery.
