Several things: Blood could come from an injury to the urethra (tube through which the urine leaves the bladder). This usually has pain or some kind of discomfort with it. However, painless bleeding from the urinary tract is potentially serious. Problems can include bladder or kidney stones, tumors of the bladder or kidney. This needs evaluation soon.
