Do blood test or U/S: Mirena (levonorgestrel) is highly effective, touting a 99+% effectiveness...But that means ~1% fail rate. So, to confirm your suspicion is to get a blood test and possibly an ultrasound because your hpt is "inconclusive" hpts are highly accurate, but, again, they are not 100%. Consult doc for an eval.
