Enough is relative: If you add up all the little doze off spells with fuller naps, the 9mo routinely gets 10-14 hrs of sleep/24hrs. Kids at this age are not qiote aware of what sleep is & often go full tilt untill they run out of steam, doze, then return to full activity. Enough sleep is marked by good growth, pleasant day activities & developmental progress.Inadequate sleep impairs the process.
