NO NO NO: You need an evaluation and work up as your weight gain may or may not be from teh pill. You should see your gyn and you can get off the pill or whatever your gyn thinks and do the proper blood work, ultrasound etc. You may need to end up seeing an endocrinologist or another dcotor.

It's been a tough yr: Many in the us have reported similar unexplained weight gain over the past year. The cause might be medication. More likely it is increased calories or decreased activity. Many more of us are sitting around and eating more processed foods without paying attention. The only way to know the cause is to change one or more of those possible causes. Another good step is to see gyn about pill, for exam.
