Just do it!: Dr. Killian's is exactly right. When someone delays testing for fear of the result (whether hep C, HIV, mammogram, colonoscopy, and many others), anxiety and stress almost always fall away after the test is finally done, even if the answer is what the patient fears. Knowing for sure, even bad news, is less stressful than the previous worry about it. Just do it: you won't regret it!
