Small arteries heart: Small vessel disease (SVD) is when the small vessels of the heart get narrow and blood can't flow as well through them. People with SVD sometimes have chest tightening, squeezing or pressure, and may faint or pass out, especially during exercise. If you've been diagnosed with svd, it's important to come up with a plan for management with your pcp and cardiologist so you can stay healthy!

Age related. : The term " small vessel disease" is usually used to describe chronic changes seen on cat scans or mris of the brain. They do not represent stroke, aneurysm, or other significant findings. It is more common to this in the studies of aged people.
