Not normal: At 19 yrs of age and you have not period is not normal. If you have normal physical development--breast, pubic/axillary hair, and monthly sensation of cramping/bloating etc...You may have an imperforated hymen (which is easily treated). If no physical development characteristics, then i suspect some hormonal issue/genetic defect problem. I suggest consulting doc as soon as feasible. Best of luck.

You need evaluation: This condition is called amenorrhea and causes can be different if you never had a period versus stopping menstruation. You may not ovulate so you don't have proper hormonal feedback or have hormone deficiencies. You may have too little body fat or be overweight and have cysts on your ovaries. Your family doctor can do an exam and tests or refer you to reproductive specialists if neccesary.
