Yes it can: Many things can result from birth hypoxia: from nothing to severe cerebral palsy and death. Learning problems, behavioral problems, adhd, seizures occur at increased rates in neonatal hypoxia (oxygen deprivation) . Not a good thing to have. If your baby suffered hypoxemia at birth, have her/him watched carefully by the pediatrician for the above problems.
