Is it safe for a man to get a nose job and a chin augmentation?

Yes. Very common: These procedures are commonly done together. The relationship of the nose and chin establish the aesthetic plane, a line drawn in profile through the tip of the nose, the lower lip and chin. This should be a straight line. Recovery time is 10 to 14 days.

Yes: Men, women, boys and girls (generally age 14 and up) commonly undergo rhinoplasty (nose job) and chin augmentation during the same operative session. A short chin tends to create the perception that even a normal sized nose is large. So adding length to the chin helps to bring harmony and balance to the face.

Probably: These two operations are not infrequently done together. If you are healthy enough for one of them then it is safe to do them both together.

Very safe: Rhinoplasty and chin augmentation are commonly performed together. If you are otherwise healthy, this should be totally safe. I typically place the chin implant first to minimize the risk of infection of the implant. Most patients return to work between 7 and 10 days. I hope this information is helpful. Chin Aug and Rhino: A chin augmentation often makes the nose look more proportional and stick out less so very approriate to do at the same time as a rhinoplasty. Chin augmentation most often is used to restore balance to the face due to a weak chin (under-projecting in profile). Chin implants can also create a wider, stronger chin. They can also be used to lengthen the face slightly.
