Sensory overload: People with asperger's syndrome are often very sensitive to pharmaceutical medications. But, some use low doses of antipsychotics such as Risperdal or seroquel (quetiapine) to help with sensory overload. For more clear anxiety-related complaints, low-dose ssri's might be tried. Some patients may not tolerate any of these -- and classical homeopathy with a well-trained homeopath could then be an option.
