A member asked:

Do i have iron deficiency anemia if pale?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: You can't know that you're anemic without a blood test. Paleness can happen for lots of reasons. If you're anemic, there are many possible causes; again, you can't know the cause without an evaluation be a doctor. 39 is a rather unusual age to develop iron deficiency; if you're concerned i recommend you see a doctor.
