2 month old exposed to whopping cough?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See your DR: If your 2 month old has been directly exposed to a confirmed case of pertussis, or whooping cough, you need to see your doctor. At your baby's age, he has not yet completed his primary pertussis vaccination series, so he is susceptible to contracting this disease. Known contacts, including your baby, will need to be treated for exposure to the disease.
