My left breast hurt on the side is that normal i'm 22 years old and i don't know what to do i'm kind of scared and can't afford a doctor what do i do?

Not normal: Sometimes the breast swells from hormones before a period, so if there is no redness ( suggests infection) or lumps (possible cyst or other tumor) then avoiding caffeine and using cold compresses may help. Redness and lumps need further evaluation.
