Probably was: It is not uncommon to have sometimes clear discharge towards the end of pregnancy. Also many times urine may leak giving you the feeling that your water broke. The staff would have taken some of the fluid out, put on a slide to confirm if "ferning" happened which is the sign this was amniotic fluid (water from the bag around the baby).
