My newborn is 42 days old now. her skin colour is darker than mine or her dad's or her younger brother, is that normal or is it gonna change by time?

It is normal: Do you have relatives with her color skin? Time will be the best solution. Some babies have a little jaundice that can last this long and it can actually make skin appear darker than it actually is. She may have darer skin than you all...That can be normal and is simply a reflection of genetic combinations.

Normal: Children in a family can take on a variety of skin tones, facial features and genetic traits. Remember children are not a perfect "mix" of mom and dad. Ever met a red headed child and no one else in the family has red hair? In terms of skin tones, these can vary also on ethnicity and race. Skin tones typically do not get lighter.
