Need to Check it out: Many reasons why this can occur. First and worst (but not most likely) is cancer. For this reason you should be evaluated by your doctor who will likely do a biopsy. Other more common reasons are polyps, fibroids, adenomyosis (menstual periods in the muscle of the uterus) and hormonal abnormalities. Depending on your medications you may also be suffering side effects or even thyroid disease.
