It is a retinoid: Renova (tretinoin) is a retinoid similar to Retin-A which is used to treat the fine lines of the face. Chemically the compounds are related to vitamin a. They can also be used to treat inflammatory conditions of theskin, skin cancers, acne, and photoaging.
