Any X-ray 2 help see: Diagnostic imaging is any radiologic or other intervention used to help image the breast and establish a diagnosis. This includes x-ray, xeromaography, ultrasound, ct scan, mri, pet scan, etc.

Mammogram or U/S: If you have a lump in your breast, there are many possible causes. Most likely any breast imaging specialist will do both a mammogram and an ultrasound of the area. Diagnostic imaging is the use of these studies to identify the disease.
