NSAIDS: For now, take 600 mg of advil with 1000 mg of tylenol (acetaminophen) every 6 hours. The combination is better than either alone. You can substitute 500 mg of naprosyn (aleve) for Ibuprofen & better to start these prior to menses. Schedule an appt with your doc or get referred to a gyn for help with your dysmenorrhea. Endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyosis, infections, are the short list of what may be going on.
